I am an American artist living in Oklahoma where I paint full-time.  My attraction to painting began years ago while I was studying fashion design in Paris. Living across the street from the Louvre Museum, I went there often and visited many other museums in the city as well. My admiration for painting and for those who create it deepened.

A few years later, I decided to start drawing. I have always liked to work with my hands and drawing seemed to be the next skill to explore. I drew almost every day for about 2 years and then decided to go to a painting class. I have been painting ever since.

I work in a variety of media including oil, acrylic, pastel and watercolor. I like having the flexibility to choose whatever medium I feel best expresses my subject.

I choose subjects that inspire me and often they are from photos I have taken on my travels.  I choose images that I would like to preserve and to enjoy long into the future. My approach to painting is simple. I paint what I find to be beautiful.
